boldness, mystery, and gentility

i stayed up very late last night and finished three projects that i started a while ago and just haven't been able to complete.

this is the "mystery" ring, with turkish dendritic opal.

i love the high dome, pillowy cut of this stone, and the depth of the pattern is tremendous.

this stone has such a hidden and mysterious look to it. you can see so many things in it...a snowy branch, moss, a fern-like plant, a flock of startled ravens taking flight, a tree...

dendritic opal is said to promote growth, (spiritual and physical) and enhance organizational abilities. hmmm.... maybe i should hang on to it in that case, huh?

it is a delightful pointer finger ring.

this here is the "bold freedom" necklace, with a delicious pale wispy larimar.

i gave it all kinds of texture around the edges and crafted a cool spiral bail.

it is on my signature heavy, textured chain.

and, because larimar is said to assist one is recognizing self-imposed chains, and facilitate breaking free from them, i put "freedom lies in being bold" on the back.

i also made another "child of the universe" ring, with an amazing BIG (don't think i can ever get these big ones again) prehnite. drool.

good ol max ehrman on the back...

and, i get to work ALL DAY tomorrow! yay! i just can't wait! i will certainly have some goodies for you!
