cortez journal article and sales at co-op!

wow!  so the cortez journal picked up the story from the mancos times and ran this week.  that means i am in three publications right now!  here's a link to the article:

also, sandy from the co-op e-mailed me and said i had had a few sales!  i am not sure what sold yet, but i will find out next time i go...  i leave to go out of town friday and will work on many new "lantern bouquet pieces when i return!

springtime fun and arts perspective

i know this photo isn't the greatest, but i wanted to share the first piece in my new series, "lantern bouquets".  i had SO much fun making this piece; i know there will be many others!  i am not planning to sell these in my etsy shop, just in the gallery and at shows this summer.

mancos times article

well, there was a lovely article written about me in the mancos times, inviting me as a new member at artisans. however, i can't provide you with a link because the mancos online paper costs $20 a year! oh, well... it was a good article!

opening at artisans!

( i can't figure out how to arrange these photos!  i am holding off on adding more...)  i had a lovely little "opening" for myself last night at the new gallery, artisans of mancos.  it was really great!  a very nice group of people showed up to show their support and we had a very good time.  i am so excited to be a part of this cooperative gallery.  thanks so much to everyone who helped out!

my mother and father in law were here visiting for a while and boy were they a big help!  they spent a lot of time with the girls so that i could work and try to get caught up.  i would just like to say thank you so much!  what a big help.  i am still a bit behind, but doing much better than before.  glenn and i even got to go away for a couple days, which we haven't done since the girls were born!

my dear sweet little junebug has been very sick.  it has been almost a week since we have slept for more than 2 hours at a time.  her fever has been VERY high and we ended up at the hospital last night, doing blood tests.

of course she is my top priority right now and it has caused me to fall behind on work a bit.  (i have a very delicate little balance i try to maintain and it doesn't take much to set upset it!)  i sent an e-mail out to my customers who will be affected and they have all been very understanding.
