new san francisco pieces and a lovely visit

i shipped these pieces to the san francisco gallery today. it's pretty cool, the manager of the gallery sent me a "holiday request list" back in september, but it was very vague- "3-5 pairs of earrings, with and without stones, several rings, variety of bangles, and any new designs you'd like to include"- so there's still lots of room for creativity, which is nice.

the earrings

and i included these new feather pieces as well.

my parents came to visit last weekend and it was lovely.

we had a little critter snuggle fest on the couch

hazel ran a 5K in telluride, which was awesome.

girls on the run!

glenn ran it with her.

june was an excellent cheerleader

after the race, dad got some juggling instruction; it's on his bucket list.
then my parents took the girls home and glenn and i got to go for the first ski of the season, at dusk. it was fantastic.

jo thoroughly enjoyed his first time skiing.

bridges national monument

last weekend we went camping in bridges national monument. it is such an amazing place! last year we took a day trip there while camping nearby and decided to go back this year and spend more time. we camped in the park and we were able to hike to all three bridges. we had a great time.

owachamo bridge, the oldest one
kachina bridge, the newest
the girls made sand angels
and sipapu bridge
the dogs weren't allowed on the hikes but they still had a great time. (i am loving little jo so much; he's such a great little member of the family.)
we took a little side trip to lake powell, because i had never been there.
the deserts of utah have always been very magical places to me. this trip was very healing and i hope to carry the love and warmth with me through the winter, until i can return again.
