i had such a gratifying day out in the shop yesterday! here is what i made:
the "trust the moonrise" ring
with the coolest crazy lace agate
beautiful whites and grays and creamy bands
the "rise up" necklace
with laguna agate
the back of the stone is as gorgeous as the front
purples, lavender, gray, indigo...
the "first snow" earrings
with rainbow moonstone
the "submerge" ring
with chrysocolla (a.k.a. parrot wing jasper)
and i made these guys for the gallery
and... here's my new stove!
isn't she beautiful? thank you so so so so so much, patty!
it is the perfect stove for my shop. i am so excited!
(and rick is all paid. thank you so much to everyone who participated in my sale!)
of course, the shop had to be moved around again to make room for it. i love the new arrangement!
now if i could just get some more time out there...
actually, hazel's been mentioning full-day kindergarten. both her teacher and the counselor at her school have talked with her about it. as much as i am loving our time together in the afternoons, i have to admit i feel like my business is falling apart a bit because i have so little time to work. i am SO torn. she and i are going to talk about it tomorrow...

Amazed at what you can do in a day- especially love the "first snow" earrings. I hope they fly off your shelves and fill your new stove with cedar.
p.s. My Lucy goes to kindergarten next fall, it will be a full day -I'm glad we don't have an option of half day because I just know it would be a hard decision. If my son was any indication, I find that most of the stuff I worry about he actually flies through without difficulty(remind me I said that in two years when he starts middle school;) Good luck with whatever you decide.
Wow! I can't believe you got all of that done in one day! That is awesome. I love the first snow earrings. :)
Three things:
1) I am madly in love with the first snow earrings. Seriously amazing.
2) The new stove is awesome and the studio is spectacular :)
3) Your hair lookssuper cute. Love you!
thanks you guys! traci, you're hilarious, and christmas is coming...
